Hello

I am sorry I  don't know you or your family personally but I was very deeply saddened to hear about and read your daughters story.  I like to write poetry to express myself and decided to write you a poem in Demi's honor.  I found her grave and went and offered my respects to her and thought it was such a beautiful place.  I can only imagine what a wonderful girl she is because of  how many people were affected by her passing.  I'm sure words cannot express your sorrow :-(   I offer my sincerest condolences and prayers and I hope you like my poem:  (when I say place, I mean grave)

I went to Demi's place today
but did not find her there
and so I knelt beside her
and offered up a prayer

I found that she was in the wind
the breeze that cooled my brow
I knew that she was not asleep
but lives like we do now

She sang to me by robins voice
and winked through stars at night
her smile was in the suns bright rays
her love in the rainbow bright

At night she dances on the clouds
not still beneath the sod
she mingles with her loved ones
and gets hugs from the arms of God

I know she's with her family
in thoughts and memories sweet
as they look forward to the day
once again their daughter to meet

The world we know is very sad
while she is in a better place
but she is all around us though
we can't see her beautiful face

Just as roses bloom each spring
the same shall be with man
if we but follow Jesus Christ
and His eternal plan

For He alone has paid the price
eternal life to buy
that even though our bodies rest
we'll  never have to die

I offer you this in hopes it will comfort your hearts just a little and that you will take peace in knowing that you are the family and parents of such a special girl.   Even without knowing her, I was able to feel in my heart what a wonderful special daughter she is.  May God bless and keep you and give you comfort every day.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Demi,

I know you had a huge welcome as you walked through the pearly gates. I am an earth bound angel and I wish you could have been but I guess Heaven needs Angels too. Your family and friends are in my prayers. So enjoy Heaven and we will take care of your family.

What a beautiful Angel.  I am the mother of  EBA Johnny.  Your family is in my prayers.  Look down on them from the beautiful sky and give them the strength they need at this time.  Bless them with your sunshine and guide them with your memories.  May they have peace at this difficult time.  Watch over our Earth Bound Angels and please give them strength to go on.

To the family and friends of beautiful Demi,  I want to express my sympathy and thoughts to you.  Your Demi is beautiful and I know that her presence is  a great loss for you.  I wish you strength and hope  you find some comfort in support of those who care. 

It will be a long and hard road to walk without her.  I know....I lost my Amber Star to bacterial meningitis November 27th,2001. My daughter was 22 years old when she went to heaven.  Amber was my angel on earth.

Dear family of Demi,

 

I am so sorry to know you have just entered such a difficult new time of your lives. Meningitis knows no boundaries and strikes all it is able. Some make it. Other's don't. My daughter-in-law did not. Her tribute site is below (also one on angels site).

 

I am praying for you; as I do all our angel family. I have not read her story yet and will shortly. But know that you are NOT alone, in your suffering and pain, or in your efforts to try to make sense of this. When you are ready, join us to share your frustrations, fears, questions, whatever. God Bless and praying for God to Bring peace back into your hearts as soon as you can allow it.

I'm so sorry for the heart-breaking loss of your sweet Demi.  Please know that I am praying that God will comfort you. I didn't personally know Demi, but I am suffering from the loss of my little sister, Amy.  Hold on to each other and feel God's arms wrapped around you in those darkest moments.

I am one of Demi's many friends. She was such a beautiful person and she touched so many peoples lives. I attended Judge with Demi and was also a member of her basketball team. She was such a great athlete and I have so many fond memories of her. She was so funny and always had a smile on her face. I was with her in St. George the weekend before she died and i am so grateful to have shared those last moments with her. Despite just playing basketball, we had so much fun in the pool playing games, in the shower goofing around, on the beds braiding each others hair, and especially staying up late talking about boys and eating the pizza that we secretly ordered. We all miss her so much and neither school nor basketball will be the same with out her.
To Demi's parents and family, I am forever sorry for your loss. Your are all wonderful people and  I am so sorry that such a terrible thing had to happen to such wonderful people. We love you and your Demi, and you have many people who are there to support you during these hard times.
