She was told not to vaccinate in fact she was refused the vaccine because she did not live in a dorm. Jane died at age 22. Her best friend died just a few years before from meningococcal disease. Sierra

He was a first round draft pick for a pro base ball team at age 19. Meningitis struck and took all that away.

He had just graduated high school. He planned to live at home for his first 2 years in college. There was no education on the disease nor the vaccine then. He died at age 18. His mom Frankie help change that in 2001 with SB31 requiring education for all college freshmen, signature of acknowledgement and a wavier of vaccination refusal. Cherice

He started college under a law from 2009 that only required those students living in dorms to be vaccinated. He died at age 20. His dad Greg led and was joined by other parents including Ryan and Vincent's moms to change that law to SB1107 the one we follow now . Andre'
