Amanda Shirley Van Patten

Amanda works hard on meningitis and immunization awareness. Pneumococcal Meningitis left her blind. This does not keep Amanda down. She is graduate of  University of Tennessee and a newly wed.

Christine is the mother of Amanda. she has fought hard to get Amanda the help she needs and helps to advocate for stronger awareness programs on meningitis.

Lindsey Grey

Lindsey is a remarkable young woman who survived meningitis with the loss of limbs. She works hard on  meningitis awareness at the University of Memphis and a Angel support team leader. She was featured in a 17 Magazine article in July 2006.
