Hello...I would like to light a candle for
everyone who has lost their life to meningitis. As a infant...6 months old I
had viral meningitis and luckily it wasn't fatal...but from me having that I
now have permanent hearing loss. I look on the "Meningitis Angels" website
quiet often for updates and stories because I am now 24 with 2 sons of my own
who are 3 today, and one will be 5 in September and every time they get sick
and run a high fever I am always worried but they have had the meningitis shot
to help prevent them from getting meningitis...I just wished it was always
available so so many people wouldn't of lost their life to it! I'm so
sorry for the loss of your son. Take care.

Today
is the anniversary of the day Misty decided to move to be with Johnny and
their short journey began. I am really feeling the pain again today - I think
it is because she was Johnny's inspiration in his Army training and now he
will be leaving to use that training very soon. I know he still thinks about
her everyday; but I am so happy that he has again found love. Some say it is
too soon. I say phooey. When you find love you don't walk away because of what
other people say. But he does still love Misty very much - he told me that
just the other day.

other for hours sometimes right before she left. :(
