National  Infant Immunization Week

April 25-May 2

Alexa,  Haleigh, Phoenix, Bella and Anthony, all taken by vaccine preventable diseases.
These are just a few of thousands of infants that have died or will die every year from vaccine preventable diseases.  We must all work together to make sure we stop these diseases by educating our parents and public on the diseases and the vaccines to prevent them. We must support the research and development of new and better vaccines for the future.

Please follow ACIP/CDC recommendations and schedules for immunization and speak to your health care providers about your child's immunizations. No infant should die from a vaccine preventable disease, not in America or anywhere around the world.

One simply has to walk around an old cemetery to see the value of vaccines. For many of us like myself,  we just live with the pain of  losing a child or caring for one that is debilitated from a disease that could have been prevented by vaccines.  Frankie Milley, Meningitis Angels Founder and National Director
