Maggie Grace, with her parent's Douglas and Karen Mehlhaff and her big brother Isaac, whom she adored. "Snowball" shown on the picture has taken an important role in Isaac's life, taking the physical place of his sister. The picture was taken two weeks before Maggie died. As a family, the Mehlhaff's laughed and played together and lived life to the fullest. Today, they have been so richly blessed with their daughter receiving "special delivery" to heaven, but the incredible pain and sadness over her death is still so great as she will always be missed

Tiny Angels rest your wings
sit with me for awhile.

To Maggie,

Hi honey from Uncle Stew & Auntie Lila! We were there the night Jesus needed you in heaven.

I don't know why he needed you but we miss you down here. I have so many precious memories about you.

Through all of this, you have taught me how to cry, how to look at every little baby in a different way,

and you've created in me the desire to seek the Lord our God in a real life way.

You have a new cousin named Aleya. Auntie Lila and I adopted her and she is 4 yrs old. When she

is old enough to understand, we will tell her your story.

It's been tough to watch your mom and dad struggle with you being gone, your big brother is doing ok,

your little brothers are quite a pair.

We love you and miss you,

Angel1p Our little Pearl,
Mom and Pop are doing fine and so is Isaac, but we all miss you so
much. Your brother loved and adored you so much. He was so proud of
you and I know as he grows in years he'll continue to be even more
proud of you. It's been over a year now that Jesus lifted you from my
arms. Everyday life has been hard for us but since you left us we have
turned to God because of nowhere else to turn. And since, He has
taught us and blessed us with a true purpose for our own life here on
earth. Oh Maggie, we have such peace and comfort because we know you
are safe and that we will see you again, but we miss you with our whole
heart. We have been blessed because we can live our days with
enrichment because of trust and hope. When I look at your picture
though I still have this incredible pain and my crying is
uncontrollable from the deepest of my heart, yet look how far I have
come. I long for the day when I can see you again, but until then
please help me to see the joy that you brought to your mom, brother
Isaac and myself. So many people have helped us along the way and as
we walk down this path that no one would ever choose, it's a path that
God has directed us every step we take. Even today, as far as I have
grown in my own relationship with Jesus, if I could be granted one wish
it would be to have you in your mom's and pop's arms again. I'm so
selfish. We are thankful for all these people who have sent messages
and for letting the world know that you will never be forgotten. It's
these people who "stop and smell the roses" and try to imagine just for
one second the pain that we feel because of all our shattered earthly
dreams. Through love we continue to be lifted in prayer minute by
minute, because it's the power of prayer from these wonderful people
that has sustained us and provided us with the will to move on even
when we couldn't pray our self. So, we go out now and tell your story
because it's all to the glory of God.

Angel1p Sweet Angel Maggie, soon you will be one year old. To celebrate a first birthday in Heaven must be something far more wonderful that we can even imagine. Your little light here on earth still burns bright in the hearts of those who love you. By now you have met your angel family in Heaven. Feel safe in the arms of, Jesus, Baby Maggie. Welcome to our angel family.

Angel1p Sweet Baby Maggie...

You certainly are one of God's precious ones. Being taken so quickly from God is an honor. He definitely has a golden crib and rattle waiting for you! I pray you give your parents the strength to go on Baby Girl. I'm sure my Mama, Gina is up there right now holding you and rocking you to sleep, like she did me. I pray your bright soul stays near your beloved family and may they feel the holy spirit around them. God Bless you Baby. We'll see you when God allows!
