I am 48 years old.
I am married to a wonderful man named Bill . We have two daughters, Stacy 23 and Denise 22.
My oldest daughter blessed us with a grandson Logan. He is two years old.
When I was sick in the hospital with meningitis, I just kept looking at my grandson's photo and praying to God, Let me go home and love my grandson. He is my pride and joy. I am very blessed with my family. They were by my side every single day doing for me, they kept me going.
God answered my prayers.
My Earth Bound Angel Story
I woke up the morning of February 12, 2004. I did not feel good and I could not stop shivering and shaking. I had a fever also. I didn't have the energy to go to work, I called in sick. My husband called the doctor and I was told to come in at 11:30 am. My doctor was not there that day his physician assistant checked me over. I had a stiff neck and my blood pressure was a little low. She took a throat culture which came back negative. She told me I could be coming down with the flu and to go home and drink fluids and stay in bed. I went home still feeling real bad, went to bed my husband said we will go to another doctor tomorrow if I wasn't feeling any better, but by 7pm that evening I was feeling really bad and the pain in my legs were unbearable.
